Among the major OpenGL ES GPUs, S3TC, PVRTC, ETC, and ATITC are the most common texture compression formats. The Hyper-V host device manager says it has a Maxtrox G200eh3 video card, that's a legacy card as far as i can find.
I also ran the tester on the Hyper-V host machine with the same result. While in the testing period, VMware Fusion will be free to use. Wrapping up our look at OpenGL ES 3.0’s features, we have texture compression. They ran a OpenGL tester and my VM says running version 1.1 Vendor Microsoft. VMware says that it is looking for feedback from users in order to iron out kinks and add new capabilities in preparation for more formal support later this year. Ubuntu 20.04.4 and 22.04 for arm64 are not currently booting (Ubuntu 20.04.4 builds from July 5 and onward) We are working to resolve this.macOS virtual machines are out of scope for this release, but it's something we're looking into.Fusion will not support running VMs across different architectures. At the current time, Fusion on Apple silicon devices is "still a work in progress" and there are some limitations to be aware of. virtually every GPU made in the past 10 years (except for certain unsupported intel IGPs) will support at least GL4.0, and anything youd probably want to consider targetting for a game will have support for GL4.3 and above anyway. While the new functionality was designed with Windows 11 in mind, VMware says the tools can be used with other VMs too. literally any computer still usable in 2021 will support G元.0 as a baseline. 3D Graphics HW Acceleration and OpenGL 4.3 in Linux VMs* (Requires Linux 5.19+ & Mesa 22.1.3+) glxinfo grep OpenGL OpenGL vendor string: Intel Open Source Technology Center OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400 (HSW GT2) OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 21.3.2 OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 4.50 OpenGL core profile context flags: (none) OpenGL core profile profile mask: core profile OpenGL core profile extensions.

We recommend that you update to the latest Intel Graphics driver to get full.

If you have a compliant graphics card in your system and still get this message, please make sure that the appropriate drivers from the manufacturer are installed and up to date. You may try to contact the system manufacturer for assistance, but most likely, upgrading the graphics card is required for this system to be compliant with nTopology. OpenGL is a standard for rendering 3D graphics used by GPU manufacturers, and implementation is mostly related to hardware.
This error occurs if the graphics card is out of date. NTopology requires an OpenGL 4.3 compliant graphics card.
#Does my gpu have opengl 4.3 upgrade
I want to upgrade the OpenGL version to enable software functionality. Is it possible to upgrade or downgrade OpenGL versions?.Everything is updated to the latest version, but I still get the 'OpenGL 3.3 and later is required for this application to run' message and the programm is not starting. Opening nTopology triggers an error message "Failed to Initialize OpenGL." I have OpenGL 3.3 installed (confirmed by OpenGL Extensions Viewer and Geeks3D GPU Caps Viewer) and I have only one Graphics card installed (no internal graphics in use).
